When can my student use the library?Students may use the library before and after school and may also be excused from the classroom at various times at the teacher's discretion. Students visit the library bi-weekly with their ELA classes. The library is available for small groups or individuals who need a quieter, less crowded setting to accomplish their tasks. The library has space avaialble to create recordings or video for class projects.

When does my student's class visit the library?Tuesday- Mrs. Kirchhofer and Mrs. Myler Wednesday- Ms. Tomlin Thursday- Ms. Martin Friday- Ms. Heishman Classes usually visit once a week to checkout, renew and read books. On a monthly basis the librarian also works to enhance student's information literacy skills.

What are information literacy skills?Information Literacy involves your student's ability to locate, understand and interpret, and share information with others. The skills that are taught may involve more effective internet searches, evaluation of resources, respecting intellectual property, or using presentation tools more proficiently.
